Breakfast was excellent. Nicely cooked and beautifully presented. Evening meal was excellent value. Again beautifully presented. Drinks prices were very reasonable too. Bed was comfortable.

It was a little noisy. Understandable on a Friday night but I had an early start in the morning. Thankfully I had noise cancelling earphones so was able to sleep undisturbed. Bathroom and shower functional but showing its age as was the bedroom carpet.

Friendly staff, the convenient location and easy parking. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was freshly prepared and served with excellent coffee. It was very good value, and a great stopover on our way to catch a ferry from Dover.

Overall it was very good, but my bed wasn't the most comfortable.
