The Tides Inn

Warm welcome, clean comfortable and great for short break. Central to the seafront shops and restaurants. Great base to walk anywhere from. Thank you to The Tides !

The benefits of being central mean it is a bit noisy at night but that is clearly stated in booking and reviews

It's 2 minutes away from the train station,just across the road to the beach,all staff brilliant & local people lovely

Don’t clean To old en suite room with shared dirty toilets

Location was fantastic. Room was clean and comfy. We were able to store our luggage

WiFi wasn’t available and signal was patchy

Bedroom 5 has period features and a great view of the clock tower and the sea

With the windows open it is very noisy from traffic, the shower has very low pressure and the extract fan doesn’t work. Cigarette smoke from the flat below enters the room which isn’t pleasant

Housekeeping supplying and replacing the used towels was very good. The room had a Ceiling Fan attached to the light that helped keep the room cool. Also the self service for coming and going from the Inn was good with your own key to get in the building so you could stay out late without getting locked out

The doors to the rooms needed the handle and lock screwing to the door properly.

I have stayed at Tides Inn several times. It is always clean, the staff are kind , friendly and helpful.
