The Birdham Hotel & Restaurant

Breakfast was delicious and the variety of complimentary products were a nice touch

Being in a small room on the top floor felt like sleeping in the attic and no lift to the upper floors

Room had a noisy window frame

We had double rooms but are family and staff were so accommodating at swapping us to twin rooms. I was able to sit by the fire for lunch and it was cosy and warm. The breakfast was included and very nice. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

I couldn't fault this place. We had come in a rush due to our dad being ill and the staff and the accommodation was great for what we needed.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the location was really good. The hotel is opposite a bus stop, so it was useful as we did not have a car. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were exceptionally good - a wide choice of both hot and cold, quality dishes. The pub was lively, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the log fire was cosy. Also, there is usually live music every Friday.

The restaurant offers a varied choice of dishes, but I felt the smashed avocado topped with three prawns on one slice of sourdough was small and overpriced at £14.00. I questioned whether it was a starter, but was told it was one of the main dishes. This is my 4th visit to The Birdham and this dish was disappointing and not representative of the value associated with other meals.
