Very comfortable and spotlessly clean, great full veggie breakfast, huge comfortable bed, spacious room, plenty of storage, handily close to Cowbridge. Also really appreciated the air con during a very warm weekend.

Not very mobile so stairs are difficult.

Lovely pub with only a few rooms. Beautifully situated in the country opposite a farm. Great for an evening meal. We have been to the Victoria Inn many times and it never fails to please. Lovely home cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend

Breakfast until 9.30 during the week rather than only until 9am

The staff and the owner are very friendly and thoughtful. The breakfast was wonderful and the unlimited coffee, even brewed decaffeinated, were a real plus. We had dinner there all 3 nights and the food was fine. It's a popular place with locals. We asked for a stronger reading light and it was there when we arrived. The air conditioner is a major asset in the summer, but two of the 3 nights, we just used the fan. The only downside is that the drive to Cardiff, etc., was a little harrowing because of the narrow roads. But that is the price one pays in the countryside and we loved waking up to the birdsongs and taking wonderful walks in the area.
