Archaic House- Siem Reap

First, the staff are amazing. They were helpful with suggestions and making arrangements for our airport transfer and other needs. Note, Booking.com states airport shuttle is included. It is not. You will have to arrange your own transport orr message the hotel and ask them if they can arrange it for you. You will pay the driver. The A/C of the room we were booked into was malfunctioning so they moved us to a different room the next day. We very much appreciated that! The rooms were clean but if you want your room cleaned every day, you will need to ask. Housekeeping does not come knock on your door. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and met our expectations. The staff were great and we would easily recommend Archaic House if you are looking for a good value accommodation.

Transportation to and from airport was stated to be included and it was not which left us scrambling at the last minute to figure it out. A fridge would be a nice add. There was no in-house laundry service. A list of trusted partners guests could access would be helpful to take the guesswork out of where to go for certain services (laundry, spa, restaurant, shuttle, etc).

The hotel is on a busy main road, the traffic noise was very high. I asked for a ground floor room because of difficulty climbing stairs, but got a 2nd floor room.

It’s convenient and it’s just walk away to the pub street and food area. The location is very amazing and the property is very nice. Secondly is about the staff. They are very nice. Most especially the boy who welcomed us when we arrive he’s very accommodating and nice. I really recommend them so much also the staff the girl and the security guard. They are so amazing. I love to go back to the property again. Please book them in your future travel.
