Archaic House- Siem Reap

The hotel was exactly what we expected - simple, in a good location, and the room had what was needed, a bed, a desk, a functioning bathroom, and the aircon was good, and the wifi was adequate.

Bathroom could use a spruce up, it was a bit dated, and the shower head is essentially over the toilet. Lacking a shelf for toiletries, and a shower curtain.

The location was amazing, the room was clean and had everything I needed. (I love the type of bathroom they have, a lot of space for showering :D ). AC was amazing too :) But my favorite thing about this place was the incredibly helpful and communicative staff. They helped us a lot with some (not hotel related) issues we had and I'm really grateful for that.

Friendly staff - the lady in particular was very helpful Allowed me to check in early after night bus - greatly appreciated 🙏 Clean and spacious room Very comfortable bed The air con worked amazingly well which is what you want after being out in the heat all day Fantastic location - close to Pub St but far enough away Excellent value for money

Having to ask for housekeeping was slightly annoying It's a little tricky to spot from the street

Its location is good , only a few minutes walk from Pub Street and quiet enough not be affected by the noise and the staff were friendly and it felt very safe.

Not sure where to start .. we booked 2 rooms and both varied in size , mine was passable but my friend decided to check into somewhere else .. the shower was in the toilet literally , their were dodgy sockets , the draws on the desk were locked so you couldn’t put clothes in it , no socket near the kettle and the bed was wonky on one side .. needless to say sorry, I will not be going back ..
