It was a great building and the rooms were well insulated so no noise from the pub could be heard. Very nice and friendly hostess at the bar and good dinner.

Communication could be improved. I never received a booking confirmation and only knew my reservation was secured when the payment processed a few days before my stay. Parking information was missing. The email mentioned a PDF with car park details, but no attachment was included. There's also no parking on the premises, which would have been useful to know upfront. Check-in time wasn't clearly stated. While check-out and breakfast times were provided, I had to discover on my own that check-in was at 4pm, surprisingly late compared to most accommodations. The bed was uncomfortable. It sloped downward on the right side, making it difficult to sleep properly.

Nice and clean with helpful staff.

Breakfast was only between 8-9 and I had to leave at 7 so it didn't work for me but it did have a nice looking menu just a shame I missed it.

"Relaxing stay in pretty village"

Comfortable bed and excellent shower in recently refurbished hotel/inn. Really good breakfast and pleasant staff. Quiet village location. Three miles from Killerton, with Ashclyst Forest nearby. Food served between 6pm - 8pm so will look forward to dinner there next time.

No available parking outside, and I couldn't locate village car park and access via alleyway in the dark. My room was a small double - for my solo use - divided diagonally to create the ensuite, so the angles felt peculiar, but fine for one or two nights, and priced accordingly. Access into the guest rooms after bar closes (8pm?) is via keycode, so no staff available to let in guests at night. Stairs up, then lefts and rights and up and down steps in this pretty old building, so not ideal for people with mobility issues.
