The Silverton Inn

We got the last room which was not on suite, we coped and it was clean and bed was comfy . Staff and host were very polite and helpful when we had a problem with tv control but they fixed it but the volume was low which we could not change. This didn't affect the pleasant stay.

The only thing that was VERY disappointing I asked for a coffee after our evening meal , they said you can only get coffee at breakfast which I thought was strange. Never been anywhere were they didn't sell hot drinks after a meal. I like to finish a meal with a coffee even if I have had an alcohol drink with the meal. Only 1 bed side light, one on each side would have been better. Overall a pleasant stay.

Parking was a bit hard to find but that’s not the fault of the Silverton Inn

My room was bright and clean and well decorated. There was lots of storage space. Towels and linens were spotless. The location suited me, an inn in a small village. Pub at the Inn so tasty food available. Near to local Spar and post office. Cooked breakfast came with my room. Staff were welcoming.

Not suitable for disabled; narrow, steep stairs to rooms. Windows were single glazing so some noise from outside. I prefer having fresh fruit with breakfast and there wasn't any.

Lovely pub very quiet village. Room was lovely and food excellent.

Lovely vibrant family friendly pub. Had to park up the road outside the Spa shop, luckily we just had an overnight bag each. Home cooked food was very nice. The bar was busy until late, but it wasn't a problem, it was great to hear people enjoying themselves, and the locals were all very friendly. Only stayed 1 night for a short break after visiting Killerton House, beautiful gardens in the spring, and on to Tiverton the next day for a lovely walk along the canal.

Decent size bathroom, but with a tiny sink, not good for shaving in.
