Private Historic Inn Downtown Newport

Great location.

Perfect location, room was spacious. Had the best stay.

Everything except the last night when guests arrived on the second floor! The noise from them moving around over the bedroom was ridiculous! Not sure if they were remodeling or what from 10-12pm😬 but before they arrived it was great!

The off street parking, coded entrances, and proximity of the apartment to Thames street made coming and going incredibly convenient. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of bath linens, and the apartment was very spacious for 2 people.

While the little kitchenette area was appreciated, the absence of a sink made it difficult to rinse dishes and mugs that we used. A slight inconvenience, but made up for by everything else!

-close (walking distance) to everything -parking was easy & close by -large space

-shower didn’t drain properly -staff did not bring more k-cups all weekend even though I asked for some via text on the first morning and was told verbatim “Yes we can take care of that”

Great location near restaurants and shops and a good sized walk to the mansions and cliffwalk. The apartment is very cozy and cute. It has an incredible spa tub and sitting area on addition to the bedroom. Parking pass they offer helped tremendously since we could not snap one of the onsite spots. This allowed for maximum exploration on foot.

The lock to the apartment did not work for our entire stay so we werent able to lock it when we left during the day. We didn't feel too bad about this since the outdoor lock worked, but obviously less than ideal. At first we could not even get into our apartment but the owners helped out via phone.

I absolutely loved this place. Its location is in the center of it all. Other than 1 day of driving the area we walked to everything. The wharf was down the street. There was a breakfast cafe Bracks that was just up the block. I would love to visit again in the warmer weather. The outside may appear plain jane but the inside is a perfect New England feel.

There is nothing I can suggest to improve. It was truly a perfect choice.
