The Fox and Hounds was a wonderful stop along the Dales Way. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, really couldn't do enough for us and the rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely views to relax to during the evening. The food was good and the atmosphere throughout our stay was very relaxing. I would recommend picking up a packed lunch if you are walking the way as they were very generous and kept us going through the next day.

There was nothing not to like - Starbotton is a beautiful spot and well worth a stop along the way.

"Fantastic stay"

Lovely location, couldn’t have asked for a nicer place, staff were really friendly, especially Niomi who couldn’t do enough for us, room was clean and tidy, and a nice breakfast to follow 👍👍

Only two small things but nobody’s fault, we could smell fish in the room in morning as we were above the kitchen, but didn’t bother us at all, and the tv could have been a little bit bigger
