El personal súper atento y amable

This family run guest house felt like home with the warmth from the hosts. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from station and town. We did this easily with our toddler despite the rain. Well priced. We didn’t have breakfast here but it looked great and most others did. The host also kindly dropped us into town during the rain.

A fridge in the room as we are travelling with a toddler this would help. Steps down to the guest house fine for us but maybe not those with decreased mobility

The surroundings are beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

It was noisy at night and in the mornings. The hosts dog barked a lot and at night music from the bars was very loud.

Locatie is fijn, op 5 min lopen vanaf t centrum. Daardoor hoor je ‘s avonds wel wat uitgaansgeluiden. Overdag rust, heerlijk genieten, fijne veranda waar ook ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Ontbijt is trouwens top, varieert elke dag, combi lokaal en westers omeletje. 5 dollar pp. Hosts zijn zeer behulpzaam; willen graag allerlei dingen voor je regelen; laundry service, taxi, tourtjes. Zelf gun ik de mensen in t dorp ook wat klandizie 😉

Locatie is een beetje lastig te vinden.

Muy buena ubicación, a menos de 5 minutos de la calle principal pero en un sitio tranquilo bastante alejado del ruido. Sitio bastante acogedor y personal agradable. Desayuno tan abundante que no lo pudimos terminar.

Como comentario, aunque no negativo, si pagas con tarjeta te aplican el 3% de comisión que les aplica a ellos el banco, así que si te la quieres ahorrar es recomendable pagar en efectivo. Por otro lado, la presión de la ducha muy floja, aunque después de varios días en Sri Lanka parece algo bastante común en todos los hoteles.

La habitación estaba llena de bichos y nos encontramos una rana en el baño… todo sucio, viejo y mal gusto… parece que estás en la selva

Very nice small hotel surrounded by trees. We had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious and rich. The property is very close to the train station and to all the restaurants and shops. The owner Wasantha is a great person and gave us a lot of tips around Ella. He recommended us as a cooking class at Honey Bee which was also perfect. At the end of our stay Wasantha drove us to Arugam Bay and 6 days later from Arugam bay to Udawalawe. He is not only a great host, but also an excellent driver

Prachtige locatie! Mooie tuin met bloemen en vers fruit aan de bomen. Het pand is mooi en met smaak ingericht. Het is wat moeilijk te vinden, maar dan wordt je wel beloond. Voor Sri Lanka is het erg schoon. De eigenaar brengt je een welkomstdrankje, er is vers water en een koelkast om te gebruiken. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd, deels Europees (toast met boter en jam) en deels Sri Lankaans met vers fruit in koffie of thee. De locatie is op loopafstand van de straat met alle restaurants, ideaal. De eigenaar bracht ons met de tuktuk naar een theefrabriek en naar de Nine Arch Bridge, wat allebei dichtbij is.
