"A lovely location surrounded by lush green landscape!"

We were only in Ella for one night, but this was the perfect place to stop over before our 10-hour train to Colombo. We were greeted with tea and spent the afternoon relaxing in the hammocks outside, surrounded by lush green landscape – it was gorgeous. Villa Eden Paradise is a family-run place in a prime location for exploring Ella, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful stay.

Rooms potentially need a bit of updating in terms of decor but it was charming nonetheless, especially for the price!

De kamer had alle faciliteiten die je nodig had. De douche was fijn en lekker warm. De eigenaar en zijn personeel zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam. De locatie is dicht bij de hoofdstraat van Ella. Het is ongeveer 7 min lopen. Tegenover zit een eettentje die ook heel goed is. Je zit daar in de rust, maar hebt de drukte ook dichtbij in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader om hier te boeken.

Lastig te vinden de locatie. Als je een eettentje ziet dan rechts de trap af.

Location and surroundings were stunning. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean. Nice hot showers. We had a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast prepared for us too.

That we couldn’t stay longer because our trip was too short.

"Really nice villa, very close to town!"

The staff were really nice and attentive you would be like lying on the lounger outside and the host would give you bananas and cake !
