Villa Eden Paradise

Very peaceful and relaxing place a short walk from the bustle of the main street. I was so glad I booked here and not on the main street, which is noisy and unpleasant. Large, comfortable room and bathroom; spotlessly clean. Mosquito nets provided, comfortable beds, fridge and kettle in room. Kind host who made us feel very welcome.

The shower did not have hot water but this was not a problem for us as the temperature was warm. Be aware there are steps leading from the road to the guesthouse which may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

The location was perfect! The facility was so nice and everything was so clean.

Breakfast could have been better.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Villa Eden Paradise! Super nette Gastgeber, bestes Frühstück bisland in Sri Lanka und tolle Lage. Ca. 5min zu Fuss von der Main Street entfernt. Ein Highlight war auch die tolle Terrasse mit Jungle Feeling.

Quiet place but close to everything, in the middle of the jungle, comfy beds, hot water in shower, nice hosts, good breakfast. Recommended!

Set amid beautiful gardens and well away from the noise of the Main Street in the village. Easy walk to train station and a slightly longer walk to nine arch bridge along the railway track which was great fun ( plenty of stall along the way selling drinks etc) . Owners very helpful, spoke excellent English and gave us helpful information. Nice little veranda with recliners and a hammock outside the room.

Slightly damp smell in the rooms and towels etc a little musty, but to be expected given the humidity and rainfall at the time if our visit.

The hosts were amazing, the gentleman went above and beyond to help us get to the stay - really late notice. The villa was beautiful with a lot of garden around, it was like a mini jungle. It is about a 5 minute walk in to downtown and about a 5-10minute walk up to the train station. Very clean and comfortable. Drinking water available as well.

Great location. Walking distance from train station and a bit out of the hustle and bustle of Ella center. Very quiet, you feel like you are in a jungle. Center is easy reachable by foot or a tuk tuk is never far away. Very friendly and helpful staff, they helped us with trips and driver for our next destination. Breakfast was nice too. We travelled with 2 young kids so the family room was perfect for us

Unser Zimmer war angenehm, mit vielen Fenstern, wodurch es schön hell war, wir hatten das Eckzimmer.. die anderen Zimmer hatten nur die Tür als Fenster. Die Besitzerin war nett und hat uns geholfen, weiter zu reisen.

Die Fenster im Zimmer konnten leider nicht geöffnet werden. Die Zimmertür ließ sich zwar öffnen, jedoch war der Blick von draußen direkt in den Raum möglich, was das Gefühl der Privatsphäre beeinträchtigte und den Raum sehr stickig machte… vor allem in der Nacht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, der Außenbereich nicht wirklich. Aber hat gepasst, weil wir da nicht waren. In der Nacht kletterten die Affen über die Dächer, was ziemlich laut war… Die Besitzerin war nett, aber wollte uns Sachen für einen übertrieben teuren Preis andrehen.
