Lovely old pub, lots of atmosphere. Food was excellent as was the service.

Reasonable position to explore the area

Very bright green exit light in the room on all night. Rooms are out the back close to the kitchen so noise late until kitchen finished. Rubbish truck arrived very early one morning to empty bins.

The premises and location was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were the only guests which did not reflect on how good the property is, but I was not happy with the fact that the room was not cleaned or refreshed with water etc from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.

Breakfast was good, a balanced selection and well served too.

The food was excellent, especially in the restaurant at dinner, including high quality vegetarian options. Room was comfortable facing away from the highway, cutting noise to nearly nothing. We loved walking down the road behind the property in the evening to watch the sunset. The EVSE gave us a good charge for our EV overnight.

Excellent food, very friendly staff who made us feel very much at home. Loved the pub's old interior. Would definitely return.
