Halfway House Inn

The breakfasts were very good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was small, but had all that was needed. The meal in the restaurant was extremely good. Fresh milk, bottled water and clean towels were provided daily.

The room looked into the car park which was noisy early in the morning with deliveries.

Great location for local resorts and places of interest. The room was large, clean and comfortable, the staff cheerful and helpful and breakfast had a decent selection and was very substantial. Overall we really enjoyed our four nights there and will definitely return in the future.

Very comfortable room on ground floor, easy to access from car. Breakfast was excellent especially the home made granola and the evening meal we had was of a high standard . Location was good as a base for touring North Cornwall

Room 1 quite noisy as backing onto kitchen. Breakfast menu quite limited and quality varied depending on morning chef.

The accommodation was set at the back of the pub with patio doors, this was ideal for letting our dog out. There was even fresh milk in a small fridge in the corridor so we were able to store the dog food aswell. The staff made our stay very relaxing, Tina who served Breakfast was extremely helpful and kind as was the bar staff. Food at the pub was outstanding.

The only criticism was the bright green fire exit sign above the patio doors it kept me awake, I know it was there for safety reasons so I brought an eye mask to stop the glare.

Rooms are spacious with great views over the Cornish countryside The breakfast offered was a full english with choices, a great fruity granola and swiftly served. The evening menu has chefs specials offered in addition to the main menu, the dishes are fabulously tasty we loved eating here.
