Halfway House Inn

Great & quiet location, room size was more than adequate for two people, the double bed was large, very comfortable & the room/bathroom well equipped. The staff were very helpful & friendly, breakfast was excellent & the evening menue/drink/food was outstanding. We most certainly will stay here on our next visit to Cornwall.

Check in time could be earlier but i understand why.

Bathroom needs some TLC

Het restaurant! Eten was top ! Locatie goed om noord Cornwall te verkennen! Vriendelijke gastheer en personeel.

De badkamer kon wel wat aandacht gebruiken. Beetje 'smoezelig' Vanuit de kamer uitzicht op de parking. Bovendien ligt de accomodatie aan een drukke weg en er wordt hard gereden. Dus soms nogal lastig en ietwat gevaarlijk bij het verlaten van de oprit.

Very comfortable, top class food, staff very pleasant. We dealt mostly with Kirsten who was excellent.

Breakfast (cereal & toast & tea) was hard to get wrong. Staff were friendly and polite.

Room: The door lock were difficult to operate. Key lock on door to corridor was misaligned and “eventually” would operate. Bathroom: the shower recess was unclean: lots of black mould on shower tiles and sliding door track were dirty, making opening/closing of shower screen difficult. I resolved these issues by locating a bottle of bleach in the corridor closet and spraying the shower walls and door tracks and washing off using shower fitting etc. These shortcomings must have been obvious to housekeeper.
