Nice friendly pub with great food and service

Slight mixup on first day as no one at pub to greet us and let us in but was resolved the situation and had a pleasant stay

What a great place to stay. Our room was ready and we just walked straight in, greeted with a local chocolate and complimentary bottles of water. The room was comfy and had place to store our stuff. The staff were exceptional and helpful, the attached pub/restaurant were fabulous and we had two dinners there plus two included breakfasts. If we could have stayed here longer, we would have.

Minor issue with the bathroom exhaust fan being extremely loud in the living area only not great for those late-night visits, exit lights are way too bright.

Breakfast ok. Large room and bathroom. Evening meal good. Nice pub.

Bathroom smelly. Dated. Noisy plumbing. Stuffy. Sunday lunch finishes at 4:00, were not advised, so struggled to book somewhere late.

Great restaurant/bar onsite. Beautiful location.

Location challenging without a car as it is remote and not easily accessible. Locks on French doors into room didn’t work. Bar hours based on need, so not open one night when we returned though it was only 9 pm.

Good location and parking. Comfortable room. Very pleasant staff who know their stuff.

No evening meals Sunday or Monday was a bit of a blow. The website did not make this clear except for winter months, when it is understandable, but for end of May ?

The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Other breakfast quests very loud in breakfast room, believe to be friends of the owner.
