Downtown Inn

I've stayed at Downtown Inn before and I will recommend it to any of my friends. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and professional. The rooms are clean, large, and with nice decor. The hotel is half a mile to the Downtown shops and restaurants, less than a mile to Old Town, and The Dog House is just across the street.

The owner and staff were professional and helpful. I arrived early and, since there was no one in the room, they let me check in early. The location was excellent - easy walks to both downtown and old town. It had everything I needed. I'll be staying there again in October.

Took a side trip while here and was delayed in returning until after my check out. Ms. B took personal care of my luggage which I had to leave behind... even removing the beer I left in the refrigerator. Above and beyond service like that is what makes a difference when there are lots of choices. Thank you Ms B. 🙏

Pretty much get what you pay for in this price range. Hotel is dated, kind of takes you back to the 60's. Manager was nice, place was dated but clean and everything worked OK in the room.
