Hostal Las Palmas

Beautiful garden and great location.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Hostal Las Palmas exceeded my expectations, the room was nice, the outside made me feel like I was in a cabin deep in the jungle and breakfast was delicious while our waiter Vinicio was very professional (Unfortunately I am not sure that was his name) also the staff was very courteous and helpful when I left my keys inside my room.

One thing I was kind of annoyed is that some neighbors dogs kept barking all night.

Nice little place, centrally located. Super nice and helpful staff, also they offererd to store our bags and valuables while we were gone into the Amazon for a few days. Rooms facing the inner courtyard, which we stayed in, are very quiet, even though it is in the middle of town.

Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find, they helped us book a tour. Would recommend.

Room was a bit loud and bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The staff at this hotel are alone worth the stay, they are friendly, helpful and very honest. I left a pair of earrings at the hotel one time. They actually tracked me down and asked me if I wanted them to return them. This is very unusual here in Ecuador and it is nice to stay in a place with such friendly, honest people. The facilities are comfortable and the breakfast is exceptional given the price of the hotel. The location is very convenient, you can walk to several very good restaurants and the town center. There is a laundry across the street, a little market next door and several restaurants close-by, which is particularly useful if you arrive tired and muddy from a trip "adentro". Very nice place.

The hostel has a beautiful garden around which the rooms are located. A very nice place to stay.
