Hot water was not working

It was a bed and a roof to sleep under it was tidy and clean and considering our last minute book we got 2 rooms the manager/owner was very lovely and gave us two double rooms that were side by side for the sake of our children to be closer to us and gave a discount was a lovely stay.

It could do with some minor upgrades to the bathroom and some of the windows couldn’t close properly other than that it was nice

No dish cloth, teatowel or hot water over basin

Room was a bit run down. Wouldn't take much to make make it look nicer.

The sheets smelled used The whole room shook every time a train went through during the night

Smelt of cigarette smoke. No smoke alarms. Inadequate bedding and unsuitable heater Thin walls and screaming neighbour and trains at night. Stained carpet and peeling paint

When I did not know how to turn on the heater staff supported twice, quite happily.

The unit is in need of an upgrade in the bathroom but this was reflected in the budget price.

Comfort and location

Old and tired facilities. Linens are tired and well used

The owner did not greet . We called and no one shows up when we were waiting outside. Poor management
