The Cave Motel

On arrival, it was good that there was a key lock to get our key for our room. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower pressure was awesome!

We quickly realized we were the only people there for the night, so wondered why we were placed right next to the train track. 🤬🤬 After traveling all day, it wasn't good being woken up at 1am and 2am in the morning when a goods train went past.

Security lights outside the rooms remained on throughout the night. Poor choice of curtains for maintaining darkness in room whilst trying to sleep.

The two owners/staff were nice people and tried to help.

The place wasn’t very poor condition, ceiling dirty lights not working in bathroom no handle on the bedroom door which wouldn’t close properly anyway, although attempts at cleaning the place was still dirty and overall standard was very poor.

Cheap clean and tidy

Very run down, holes in the walls, hot water tap didn’t work, no face clothes, no outdoor table and chairs

Room size, bed was comfortable

Could do with a paint, and modernizing

The location of the room was good.

The hotel is right next to a train track and the trains came a couple times every night which woke everyone up throughout the night.

Convieniant on long drive to have a over night break
