Amazing staff - Silvia goes over and above to make your stay comfortable. Spoke great English. Lovely breakfast!! Comfortable bed.

A little dark and tacky in places but I think that’s standard. My original room had no windows so I paid extra for windows as it was cold and depressing otherwise.

Very clean hotel, modern rooms and private bathrooms. The host Silvia received me warmly when I arrived with the night bus at 5 am. Welcoming and helpful personnel, responded immediately to all my requests. Highly recommend for a stay in Tupiza.

We spent two nights at El Grano de Oro in Tupiza and our stay was amazing. The rooms are very beautiful and clean and the owner is most welcoming and kind and even prepared a delicious vegan breakfast for us. The hotel is also very close to the bus terminal and to the main square. We can highly recommend El Grano de Oro and would definitely stay there again!

Great staff and rooms! We enjoyed staying a day there while waiting for our Sud Lioez/Uyuni tour to start.

The rooms are great but definitely much more expensive than most hotels nearby

Clean, quiet and comfortable place. The owner was a very nice lady, always helpful and provided lots of information about what places to visit. She also spoke excellent English. She made very nice fruit salads for breakfast.

The lady of the house is highly amiable, friendly and helpfull. It gives this hotel a familial feeling. Don’t expect super de luxe facilities in this ‘passing through’ town, but the amenities are all there and the hotel is very very clean and comfortable. Also fluently English speaking. We liked it very much.

The breakfast was one of the best we have had since we have been travelling in South America. The hotel was located within 150mtrs of the bus station and close to restaurants and the plaza

Normal nuisance road noise and some rooms are cold
