Auberge Motel 4 Saisons

The use of the kitchen was a bonus. The motel was a very unusual layout of rooms and hallways, balconies, kitchen and dining room. This added to the interest and atmosphere.

There was an odour of cigarette smoke in the entrance, office area. All other areas of the motel were free of odour.

Prachtig gelegen ruime cabin met goed ontbijt. Behulpzaam personeel.

The owner was very helpful and friendly and even upgraded or room for free, so it would be more comfortable with our dogs. It was very clean. We enjoyed the shared kitchen/dining room for meeting people and the available breakfast items. Beautiful spot!

Netter Empfang. Es gibt Koch- und Waschmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer war sauber. Gute Lage für die Fähre (Blanc Sablon - Saint Barbe)

Das Gebäude und die Einrichtung ist eher rustiksl und zweckmässig, tlw. schiefer Boden, knarzende Treppen. Alles ist sehr sehr ringhörig. Man hört alles von den anderen Gästen. Das Wifi hat zeitweise (Nacht und Morgen)nicht mehr funktioniert. Das Frühstück wird in der Gemeinschaftsküche hingelegt (man muss selber toasten, Eier aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen usw.)… man muss alles selber machen (was auf booking.com aber nirgends steht), und das in Gemeinschaftsküche und -essräumen. Erinnert sehr stark an eine Jugendherberge. Insgesamt war es wirklich nur mässig, dafür aber auch klar zu teuer.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious. Location was very convenient for the ferry. The breakfast was self serve, with a reasonable variety - cereal. oatmeal, eggs, toast, yogourt & fruit. Nice large communal kitchen to use.

It was conveniently located to capture Ferry to Newfoundland.
