"Exactly what was needed for a one night stay"

It was very quiet and the room was spacious Breakfast was amazing especially the toast !

There were a lot of stairs to get to the room and the door was heavy

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our second room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is very generous.

A bit shabby in parts. Very noisy at front. Could do with a bit more attention to cleaning and making sure everything is working properly ie broken blinds.

"Just one night. I appreciate its an extremely old building but it definitely needs work doing."

The staff in the restaurant were really lovely and the food was to a really high standard. I would recommend a meal here. The breakfast had a good choice on offer. Great position on the High St.

We tried to open the window as it was really hot and a piece of wood fell off. closed it immediately. our room was small and the bathroom was tiny with no space for toiletries. Shower was very poor. The photos on booking.com bare no resemblence to the room we had.
