Inn on the Harbour and Telegraph House

Right on the water

There was no elevator. Had to bring luggage up 3 floors and I am currently waiting for a hip replacement so going up stairs is not good. Not handicap accessible. There were no others rooms available I guess? The room was a water front room however the only 2 windows were extremely small. The front desk girl made it obvious we got the room we did because we booked through booking.com. We got the left over room.

No breakfast, could not wait to leave. Noises all night long in the old telegrapph house , about every hour aloud noise from somewhere would come on. Very cold old went to bed with our clothes on, no way to get heat in the room. they gave us a phone # for emergencies, but no phone in the room. Very poor accomedations. the young lady that checked us in said we should have checked in directly withe them, instead of going thru Booking.com. Dont worry it will never happen again. Ww frshened up early in the morn, packed up and left . We found a Tim Hortons for break fast at 8am and on our way to Niagra falls. You can keep Port Stanley and Booking.com . Raoul Bechard

Breakfast was good. Slider onto the shared deck was nice. Location was great...walking distance to everything.

I wasn't greeted when I arrived because the receptionist was on a private call at the front desk for 10-15 mins. In the morning, a different receptionist was wandering around in her bare feet. Cobwebs and spiders in several locations of our room, broken tiles, broken bathroom fan, worn and outdated furniture, missing pictures on the walls, holes in the walls.

Didn't have the breakfast, location of hotel is excellent for shopping and eating but if you want the big beach you need to lug your stuff about a 10 minute walk. beds were comfy. Big room.

The blinds were broken in room, lighting was awful unless you wanted the fan on in centre of ceiling. Air conditioning was on and loud and cold but we couldn't find the controls anywhere. There was one by the door but it didn't work. The water tank outside the room didn't work. We did not ask anyone about all of this as it really wasn't that important for one night. Staff was great.

Close to amenities and Marina.

No closet, no night tables and only a window air conditioner that ran constantly. Just one chair for two people so had to sit on bed.

Great location. Nice spa bath.

Our room in the Little Inn looked into the car park so we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Although there was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the harbour views the surrounding garden was dead and full of long weeds.

This property is in the heart of everything. You park your car for free and you can walk or ride your bike everywhere. It's fantastic!
