Hiwang Native House Inn & Viewdeck

Hiwang was amazing because I booked this trip last minute. Brady was extremely helpful as I asked question after question. The room itself was exceptional, especially since I was seeking a large room. It was extremely quiet and clean. The location is also amazing as it's a short transfer from the bus terminal to the House. Brady and his family welcomed me and were so nice and accommodating, felt like you're staying with family! Brady also help set up a tour for me which was incredible. My tour guide Kuya Edwin was amazing, knowledgable, funny and extremely helpful. I highly recommend the tour - going down to the rice terraces with different vantage points, meeting the locals as well as learning about the rich and awe inspiring history of the terraces. Edwin is the best!

Nothing I didn't like. I was only there for one night and one day and Hiwang made my stay unforgettable.

I loved the location, although it was foggy for the first two days, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the view of the rice terraces. Thankfully, on our third day—just before heading home—the fog finally cleared, even if only for an hour, and we were able to catch a beautiful glimpse of the scenery.

A few things could still be improved. The food at the restaurant was on the pricey side, and there were additional charges for some requests, even for reheating food.

There was a slightly unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Also, some used shampoos of the previous guest (I think) were still there. Also, the food could use more flavor 🍴. The pansit was ok, but the chicken was a miss 😕.

Absolutely beautiful. The traditional cottages are simple but super comfortable. The people who run this place are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Different cottages are at different distances to the main house (or at different levels of going up the path/stairs), and each forms its own little terrace area with outside but private bathroom, fireplace, table and chairs. The restaurant is down by the main house and makes decent food at flexible opening hours. And the view - oh well, it's just gorgeous. Highly recommended

El entorno natural en el que se encuentra, el paisaje espectacular y las vistas magníficas.

La cabaña, que es fiel a la arquitectura tradicional, permite una experiencia auténtica, pero es un alojamiento muy básico: el colchón es blando y sencillo, y la altura del techo es baja, lo que puede resultar algo incómodo si no se está atento al espacio.
