Batad View Inn and Restaurant

It is problably the best place to stay if you want to explore the Batad rice terraces and the waterfall. The view is stunning, you can enjoy your meal or brewed coffee while overlooking the whole place. Rooms are simple but clean and cosy with comfortable beds. The shared shower comes with warm water. It could be only problem for very demanding tourists but unless you are a snowflake you will be ok (the owners keep evrything clean all the time). Food is homemade and very good. Owners are heartwarming people that will always try to help you with anything you need. For the tour we used a guide we got recommended and it was worth it. It’s not that easy to navigate around the terrases and she was very knowledgeable, explaining us everything we wanted to know.

Beautiful location, friendly staff who were also helpful. It's a simple inn with all the facilities required. I highly recommend it as somewhere to stay in Batad.

Germaine and her family were very accommodating and extremely friendly. We had a really nice time in Batad. It was my second time and I think this place is much cozier than the others. Food is good, the view from the terrace is amazing. Really nothing to complain about. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything there, as usual. People are amazing, location right in front of rice terraces is amazing too. I loved our discussions and laugh with the friendly family. Food is excellent as well. Hope I'll have the opportunity to come again ! Take care and thank you 😊

Nothing there

Rita was very nice, friendly and helpful. Her house is located close to road to Batad with best view. Acommodation is very simple, but autenthic and we had everything we needed. Rita managed also our guide and Transfer to our next stop.

Superb experience. Thank you for the warm accommodation. Kuya Jeff and Kuya Ramon made the Batad experience even better. They shared so many stories about Ifugao; invited us to a bonfire accompanied with Grilled fish and rice wine. Kuya Jeff also allowed me to mingle with the residences. Wonderful experience to treasure 😊

The view here is the best! It is such a treat to wake up in the morning to the sound of roosters and birds, a cool breeze, and a panoramic view of the historic Batad Rice Terraces right outside the window. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Mang Ramon from Ramon's Homestay next door offered to arrange a cultural performance by the village children at night so it made our stay even more immersed in local culture.

I booked a room with a private bathroom for my group. The bathroom was a little tight and the entire floor gets wet when taking a shower, but all things considered, it's a luxury still worth booking. The room is upstairs (unlike the shared bathroom) and the steps are steep, so it's convenient having the private bathroom in the same floor as the sleeping quarters.
