Batad View Inn and Restaurant

I stayed here for a few nights as part of a solo trip and the location is just spectacular. Rita and her father were incredibly welcoming and looked after me so well. I ended up extending due to a typhoon hitting the area, and again, they couldnt have looked after me better. there are guides who take you around the village and all everyone in the community is so warm and friendly. Make this part of your Filipino itinerary! Note you do have to talk 10-15 mins from the end of the road to the accommodation through an easy mountain track- but would recommend leaving suitcases or heavy items in Banauae. Would definitely stay again! such a magical place

It's hard to name everything that we liked because what's not to like? The location is great and easy to reach, the view is continuesly breathtaking and Cermaine is such a sweet, welcoming host. She really thought of everything and was very caring to make sure we are comfortable and had the best experience possible. The food that she prepared for us was very delicious, especially the pancakes. And even during a typhoon we felt safe and relaxed. Cermaine additionally offered assistance in terms of transport, tours or massages in a humble way. We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful place.

The cockroach in the bathroom. No place to hang or dry towels and clothes in the room. There was no power when it was raining

The view was spectacular and the hospitality of Germaine's family was above and beyond! We love the positive vibes of Germaine's father and listening to his stories. Kuya Randy our tour guide was the best! Highly recommended if you want the best of Batad.

We had the room with the rice terraces view, it was so pretty. We did the 3 days-trek with Randy & Troy and it was amazing. Germaine prepared us a delicious packed lunch every day and was so nice with us. We also shared stories and talks with the family. Batad View Inn is perfectly located in Batad and offers a unique view over the old village and rice terraces. The restaurant's terrace is the ideal place to eat, have a drink with family and friends and rest while enjoying the incredible view. Jeff and Ramon are wonderful hosts. We had an amazing time there !

The rooms are quiet, but the village hosts many roosters that are a little bit noisy in the morning.
