"Didn’t stay as they had let out our room"

The location is good, just off the beach road.

We arrived and the room we had booked through booking.com and was confirmed by booking.com was not available when we arrived at the guesthouse. We showed them the confirmation booking, but said the room was no longer available. They did have another room but it had no balcony. I went to look at the room and it wasn’t great. It looked clean enough but was very dated, luminous coloured walls, and the bed was pushed up against a wall one side. I didn’t want to stay in this room. The entrance was through the tabled area and there was stock all over the place, quite chaotic. We cancelled the booking.
