Hotel Steinbock

The overall location is great--right at beginning of the village and near train station. Our room ended up being across the street in another building rather than the main/original building, which threw us at first as we were walking over there. But our room had an amazing view and small deck, and was very modern and comfortable so we ended up being very happy with it. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, above and beyond our expectations. (We also opted to eat dinner one night in the hotel's restaurant, which was also outstanding.) Would definitely stay again.

My husband was bothered by the noise of the early morning deliveries to the Coop store next door. I didn't hear this because I slept with ear plugs! Otherwise, absolutely no complaints.

Close to train station and grocery store. Very good breakfast. Basic alpine town hotel.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen, direkt eingangs Dorf. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Terasse die wir hatten bot einen unglaublich schönen ausblick Richtung Dorf und Berge. Abends haben wir uns im Hotel Restaurant ein Fondue gegönnt das sehr gut war, kann ich nur empfelhen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Stairs were a little but it was manageable.

The location is perfect- it is near the train station. The breakfast was also great, we loved the cheese and fresh milk specifically.

The room is a little bit sensitive to noises coming from the luggages being dragged at 6am from the room above us.

The room was simple but clean, the location is right next to the train station, the staff was really nice. The breakfast was great and the restaurant also had reasonable prices for dinner. Would return the next time I'm in Lauterbrunnen.

There was a renovation on my floor while I was there, the staff apologized about it but it would have been nice to have been informed beforehand. It didn't disturb me too much in the end as I wasn't in the hotel during the days when the workers were there.

The staff were very kind and helpful when we arrived early morning. Very easy to store luggage. Breakfast and dinner very good. Location perfect for catching the bus and train to all the attractions. We would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was beyond expectations and absolutely delicious. The room and view was beautiful and clean and quiet. The location was incredibly convenient.
