Beautiful countryside location set back from a rather busy road. All food was excellent, good choice at breakfast and hot food cooked to order. Good selection of evening meals in the bar, although I would have liked to see a selection of smaller portion meals.

Road noise and poor shower pressure

Many thanks for an excellent stay. The staff went out of their way to make things comfortable for us and even gave us a bigger room on arrival to accommodate our rather large dog.

With a lovely location facing the open countryside and a fascinating interest in motor vehicles this pub with accommodation is well worth a visit. They keep good cask beer and the dinners and breakfasts were very good. The staff were very helpful.

The wi-fi in our room was somewhat unreliable.

Great vibe. Clearly a very old characterful building. Lovely location.

No heating in our bedroom. Dinner was awful. We had different dishes and both were poor. Bedroom dated and very small.
