A fabulous stay on a long distance walk. The food was absolutely superb and staff very friendly and helpful. Caters well for walkers (and motor enthusiasts)

"Enjoyable and restful stay whilst touring the area."

The location was excellent with a view of the country side from the room. Ideal location for touring the area by car. The bar had interesting displays of classic car and bygone years memorabilia. Friendly helpful staff made quests feel welcome.

"Interesting, quirky place, but too expensive for what it offers."

Quirky, characterful hotel in a lovely location. Breakfast and evening meals were very good with anttentive and friendly service.

Was disappointed with the small dated room based on price of £150. They may wish to keep the old fashioned character but some modernisation and luxury needed in the bedrooms to warrant the price. Do not bother with the nature reserve.

"Lovely Inn in a beautiful location"

Great location, excellent dinner (especially the lamb!) and very friendly staff. Loved all the car memorabilia.
