"Not my first choice for accommodation in Battery point."

The view from the outdoor balcony of the bay is amazing! The room was large and had lots of space to put luggage on.

The room was a bit tacky, with ripped carpet, blistering paint, and loose floor tiles in the bathroom.

The rooms are big and comfortable. The location is good within walking distance to some good restaurants and the pier. There is parking area provided at the property as well.

"An excellent place to stay - and on another trip would love to book the two bedroom rooftop apartment - great views!"

It was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was also within easy walking distance to Salamanca. Access to the property was easy with early communication from the host, Leanne who was most helpful re places to dine and shop. Parking was good and the view over the harbour from the rooftop level was beautiful. It was also incredibly quiet and we slept well.

We liked the property overall - no complaints.

"Grand old hotel has seen better days. Great location, free parking."

Great location, large room. No staff, only one wing without views appear to be open. Bathroom with tub was updated, the rest of it is tired and rundown.

It appears new owners are taking over, but for now this place is rundown and doesn’t match the photos or description.
