The location is perfect, on the main street, near to all facilities. The downside is that it can be noisy at night - music from bars and restaurants in front went on till past 11PM. In any cases, Mazunte is very small, so all guesthouses are pretty much central. They made me use the bathroom and take a shower late in the afternoon, before catching my bus. I appreciated that. And also that they kept my bag safe all day, after the checkout.

This place has zero atmosphere. They do not have a proper reception and when I needed something there was always nobody to ask. Also, their welcoming was quite poor. They do not offer breakfast, nor a simple coffee in the morning, which I got even in the worse places all over Mexico. They try to charge even for water - 5 pesos. In all other hostels was for free. In addition, the bathroom was down the stairs from my room, which made it quite uncomfortable. The room was boiling hot, with just a small fun up in the front wall from the bed, not even on the ceiling. The bed was super soft, not comfortable. Also, i didnt have any space to hang my bikini or pareo after the beach: They told me to hang wet, dripping stuff in my room! Last but not least, no light outside my door, so in the night was quite difficult to put the key in and always had to have my phone on hand. It is absolutely not worth what I paid, at all. Would not recommend.

This place is super close to the beach and there are many nice cafes on this street. Everything was as described. We loved Mazunte!

The only con was a rooster from the neighbors that was waking us up every morning at 5-6am. 😅

This place is a hidden gem, all the little details around the property we amazing. The rooms were simple but perfect for what we needed. The ambiance alone was 10/10.
