The Green Inn Rooms

All communication was on line so no direct interaction with staff, however, all written communication was perfectly clear. Location is ideal and parking was easy right next to the property.

For the price I would have expected breakfast. We dined in the restaurant below the room - mains were pricey (£18 for a 12" pizza) however you do receive a complimentary bottle of house wine or equivalent other drinks to same value.

Location was perfect. Food in restaurant was perfect.

Good location at the heart of Ballater

no fan in the room given the high temperature this summer it would be a good idea to have this. Booked two rooms both the same price but the sizes were quite different. pricing should reflect the size of the rooms

Fantastic location in the middle of Ballater close to all the amenities. The room was clean with a large bathroom with both bath and shower. It overlooked the town square and church. Plenty of places for breakfast - recommend The Bothy and dinner- recommend The Fish Shop (not a Fish & Chip Shop but an upmarket restaurant with a great fishy menu).

Although we had no fault with the room we felt it was a bit pricey for what was being offered. Could have been a lot better with a bit of care. For example it included a kettle and limited sachets of tea and coffee. We we were there for four nights - no replenishments. Either top up daily or provide sufficient for the stay. We had to buy a pot of coffee from the coop opposite! The brief also stated that toiletries were included. A 50p size bar of soap and two very tiny shampoo sachets - again for four nights. Surely a jar of shower gel and shampoo could have been provided. But a suppose we were in Scotland! No problem with noise until the last night when someone was stamping around above at 2.30 am but that was down to the person in that room. But it didn't spoil our stay and would recommend the location.

The location in the small town was just wonderful.

There is water damage and what appears to be damage in the bedroom by the closet.
