Great location, nice food, very friendly lady serving breakfast, accommodation was basic but clean, Bluebird beer!

Shower was a loose hose attached to bath taps, rather than fixed to the wall with a screen, but possibly that’s just me not checking the room details properly when booking

Location is perfect thats about it the positives. Place needs some TLC and a good clean in places

The food was limited in the evening and tasteless. Breakfast was very poor ; solid poached eggs, sausages tasteless and over cooked, tomatoe undercooked., the bacon was tasteless. The coffee was even worse it was discoloured water at best. Breakfast room and bar area could do with a good clean. The tables had a greasy film on them

Fabulous bar staff and restaurant staff. Very personable and helpful.Lottie looked after us really well at breakfast. All th staff were a credit to the owner.

Nothing all perfect.

The staff were fantastic-warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our “room” (cottage at rear) was quiet, clean and well maintained. Well stocked bar with a friendly old-world pub atmosphere. The food menu and quality was also good.

The room is very dated and basic. Quite expensive on this basis but I guess we were there for the swim and this is a busy event.
