Leesburg Colonial Inn

Location

Booked a queen room with fireplace and wetbar. Gave us a double room-room was sooo small. Waited 2 hrs for owner to come in to rectify the room. Never showed staff then put us in correct room. Go to breakfast the next and staff tell us we can stay in our room tonight but have to move for our last night. We have to wait all day until 7 pm for owner. The owner booked the room we were in on his website for more money , that is business he told us. When we question him on this he screamed “Get the hell out, I’ll call the cops!” His son came over and spoke calmly. We told him to refund our last night and we would leave in the am. What they did was wrong, why would I ever come back. It’s an old inn- you can hear everything outside. Weird set up. Check in in the restaurant.

Väldigt charmigt och fint boende där vi uppskattade personalen och det trevliga bemötandet vi fick mest. Det var rent och prydligt på hotellet. Frukosten och personalen där uppskattade vi mycket också.

Det var ganska lyhört, men samtidigt var det lugnt så det störde inte direkt.

The location was very close to lots of shops and tests

The loud bar underneath the hotel, if you are in town to have a relaxing time, this is not a good option for you. You can hear the loud music through the floor and they played until 2am. It affected our sleep schedule specifically as we needed to be up by 6:30am to start our tour activities

Very friendly staff Jonathan was great. Location is stellar. Breakfast was great.

Please note windows in room 3 are somewhat loose in its sash. Our first night it was windy and there was quite a bit of persistent rattling. I wedged the gap with a sock the next day which cured the problem . A couple of shims would provide a long term solution.

Parking and steps for a handicapped person are a challenge.
