"A quirky vintage hotel with a pub downstairs."

The quirkiness of the room as was quite vintage with a modern bathroom & the king size ned in our room was so comfartable. The option to have breakfast was also included with a selection of cereals on offer , great idea!

As was a saturday night was quite noisy in the pub downstairs but we expected that & their was earplugs in the room which was an excellent idea. As we were near a road waa quite alot of traffic we heard the following morning. The steep steps /fire escape to leave the building.

Absolutely nothing!

Everything! They double booked us! And now refusing our refund. It's been 12 days even booking.com are now disputing their property on their website! It's a disgrace

"Could be better, staff were lovely though."

Clean, but overpowering scent of the bedding was disturbing. Roomy, king bed. Breakfast items on a table outside the room which was thoughtful. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bathroom was fairly modern but mould on the walls.

No remote for TV, room was cold and no heating. Bed was very uncomfortable, more springs than padding. Very dated furniture. Curtains were ill-fitting so could see all car lights which kept me awake for most of the night. Nowhere to leave keys, rang the number on the door but no answer so left them on a table where breakfast stuff was.

We liked nothing about the property.

The whole place looked abandoned. No one there when we arrived, all locked up. Every bin over flowing with rubbish. When we looked through window thought the place had closed for good.

"Great location with good off street parking.l"

We had a bonus of discovering there was a music festival on site, long after we made our booking. This made it a busy stay. The room itself was fairly quiet, considering how busy it was. The staff were great and the cleaning ladies the following morning after our one night stay couldn't have been any friendlier, and obliging to get us juice to drink and milk for our coffees.

The shower cubicle could've done with a good bottoming, (replacing old silicone filler etc),
