Whitneys Inn at Black Mountain

Location

Room was incredibly dark, with an odd pipe running through it which has crudely been cut through the walls with space either side. When the neighbouring room flushed their toilet in sploshed down a (different) pipe of our room (noisily). Toilet flush handle was broken and had been partly glued back together. Window was scruffy (peeling wood) and easily condensated. Overall a very basic room which was overpriced compared to similar in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine around the same time.

great location for Jackson which we loved

There was a lot on offer from the website, but in reality none of this was around/open, so the only provision really was a bed for the night

The energy The energy and the environment was just amazing it’s like a Hallmark movie. And I don’t mean to be so sugary or cliché however it was so beautiful so so beautiful the town too the stores the people. I told my sons and they can’t wait to come too. Thank you so much our 30yr anniversary was amazing because of this stay with you all. Thank you again

Perfect location

Extremely small room

Nice area and nice accommodation which was clean. Unfortunately no WiFi actually reached the room we were staying in and being from abroad and having no phone data this was necessary for us to use maps etc to make plans so we went to the bar to use internet.

Internet non existent in bedroom. Food in bar was just ok but music and drinks were good!
