"Lovely few days in rural Dorset"

Good breakfast options, nicely cooked, large restaurant with varied menu for evening meal. Room was very comfortable and spacious, well furnished, nice bathroom, very quiet. Large car park, lovely peaceful rural location and views. Large team of very capable and friendly staff. It was my husband’s big birthday, they put fizz in the room, decorated the dinner table, brought his dessert with a candle and sang Happy Birthday. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We picked the location for monkey world, also loved the nearby tank museum and sculptures by the lake, loads of other interesting visits in the area that we didn’t have time for.

Perhaps needed more vegetarian options on menu, but they know their market, I’m sure. Banged my head on the sloping ceiling in the room a couple of times, learned not to do that!

"Reasonably good"

No fresh fruit and would have preferred to help ourselves to fruit juice etc Didn't like endless music!

We HATED the power shower! Would MUCH rather have a detachable shower you could use to wash all bits!!!! And endless hair getting wet despite shower caps!

Clean comfortable bed Evening meal good One of the best steak pie and mash I have had Bread and Butter pudding was also delicious Staff very good

Everything was ok only complaint I could make would be the breakfast was a bit of a letdown. Overcooked bacon undercooked sausage mushroom tasted boiled
