This place was terrible. The bed was saggy and broke my back.I had to put the mattress on the floor or my back would have been so sore. No hot water in the shower and San Jose isn't actually very hot climate. Also the only sink to brush your teeth is a laundry room basis

Nice homestay style accomodations. Simple, Typico, rural tourism in the city of Alajuela. The enclosed back patio offers couches and a garden feel

I chose it for it's out of El Centro location but traffic noise is still present. It is the hosts home, don't expect to go in and out at night. Once your in, you're in, unless you want to wake the host to get in when you come home. No keyless or self key entry

Socorro was very friendly, the Hotel was very clean.

Room different from room detailed when booking. No water for 1.5 days of my 3 nights. No sink in shared bathroom, had to use sink in utility room, when water available, so no shower facilities when water off. Room had tv with no control, tv did not work.. Wardrobes blocked by bed so unable to use but could not use anyway as full of host's belongings. NOT 3* Hotel, possibly more like a hostel of which I've been in many with better facilities..

Very quick connection to the airport. Only 10 min by taxi or 30 min by foot. The landlord was very kind. She offered me breakfast in the morning.

I stayed here 1 night to catch the plane the next morning. The lady who owns the place was very accommodating. She waited up to let me in from a late flight and was up early to make sure I had breakfast in the morning. She also booked a taxi for me to get back to the airport.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The senora welcomed me a bit after check-in hours and held my luggage after check-out hours. She made the place welcoming.

The all-night party next door wasn't conducive with sleeping.
