breakfast was great, a little better directions to the breakfast if you are not staying in the main building would be of help. Staff went above and beyond. room was spacious and charming

Beautiful historic home with old, wide, wood plank floors, charmingly furnished. Superb location in town. Friendly responsive staff. Comfortable beds, nice toiletries provided.

Clearer check-out instructions would have saved a phone call. Everything, including all inn phone numbers, should be in the binder in each room, as well as on the helpful chest sheets. Also it wasn’t clear online that breakfast was included.

Excellent breakfast selections included. Service was great too.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean.

The Kemp House Love Letters was tough to navigate without bumping on the ceiling rafters occasionally! If we were taller it would have been a real issue, but we managed fine. I know it’s an old house and we had the least expensive room; I’m sure other rooms have more space. And it’s probably time to get new cushions for the front porch☺️

Location

1. Heavily scented perfume smell. I suspect it is used to cover up a damp smell. Because the smell was so concentrated, we spent very little time in the room. 2. Mold on bathroom ceiling. 3. Only 2 hangers in closet. No ironing board in room, although there was an iron. Had clothes to iron for wedding! 4. Pillows were hard and thin. 5. No counter space in room for toiletries, makeup, etc. Room very very dark, even with all the lights on. 6. Very small shower. 7. Coffee maker in hallway didn’t have coffee cups for 2 straight mornings. No one looking after things. 8. There’s no maid service at the hotel. Only a minimum number of towels/wash clothes in the room. Everything remained damp after our first night. 9. Very small wastebasket. It was full of takeout coffee cups from across the street after our first morning. 10. Dated furnishings.

In town location. Travis and Amy extremely helpful.Staff were great.

Bathroom tiny and needs upgrading.
