Wonderful little inn beside a super pub! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

We stayed one night following a day visiting Chester and the following day in Delamere Forest. Perfect location for our needs. We also travelled with one dog. We ate at the pub in the evening. They advised us they have limited menu compared to normal but there was still an extensive choice. The food was delicious and was freshly cooked. The staff and locals were very welcoming. We didn't stay for breakfast but it smelt lovely whilst it was being cooked for others when we left :-)

We had a downstairs room and you could hear upstairs moving around a little. It is an old building. This didn't detract from our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nuno is an exceptional host, manning both the bar and kitchen by himself as well as being on call for all your needs. The breakfasts were fantastic and evening meals possibly even better. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. If given the chance, we would highly recommend the Sunday roast. The room was warm bright and colourful, the bed comfortable and nicely sized. We will definitely keep the White Horse Inn in mind if we are traveling to the area again.

The room could have been a bit cleaner.
