The Royal Mail Hotel Braidwood

Stayed 1 night, away for work. Excellent service and beautiful meals after a long day.

The staff were friendly and the restaurant food was very good quality

The room was recently renovated so it was quite nice and whilst our room had an ensuite it was located opposite the shared bathroom facilities and door to the car park. This made it quite noisy with people coming and going at night.

The balcony with park/tree view, great shower, comfy bed, easy access afterhours.

Great one night stopover of going to a wedding. Room was clean and respectable.

Renovated showers were excellent Could have done with an extra couple of hooks for clothes in the shower cubicle.

Central location. No breakfast available but is available close by. Beds comfortable, great shower head in shower. Thick fluffy throws saved us from being freezing cold in bed. Newly refurbished bathroom with heat lamps.

Tiny heater for size of room with very high ceilings, so room too cold. Very, very noisy exhaust in bathroom. Curtains awkward to close and open as fabric on rods caught. Stairs awkward with suitcase, but we were offered help to get them up the stairs. No staff evident on leaving to help us get them back down. Noise from and nearby rooms filtered in. One bedside lamp not plugged in, so had to move bedside table to acccess it. Power points within reach of the two beds used were so close to the floor that it was not possibel to plug in CPAP machines.O
