The only problem was a green security light in the room which was too bright . Other than that the visit was excellent.

Everything perfect. Lovely big room, quiet, pretty setting, amazing food

Wish we could have stayed another night.

Right on the Pennine Way in a lovely village. Rooms were behind the pub, so it was quiet. Comfortable. Had a nice bath.

The accommodation was good. However, I had an evening meal in the restaurant of the hotel/pub. Had made a prior reservation for dinner at 6 PM. Ordered immediately at 6, then at 6:15 a blond female member of staff placed a sign on my table to say it was reserved for someone else at 7:30. I felt that was rather rude. Made me feel aggravated during my meal which wasn’t served until 6:45. Normally after waiting that long for a meal it would mean that it was cooked from scratch. Alas, the fisherman’s pie tasted watery.

Room was comfortable, well appointed and well located. Parking was convenient. Dinner was yummy and staff were all absolutely awesome.

Skylight made the room bright in the morning and was really hard to open/adjust. Breakfast was OK but basic.

Clean room with all the bathroom facilities you could need. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food very good and staff coped in a very busy atmosphere.
