chilly room and no floor covering - carpet or rug no wifi in room leak under the sink no housekeeping until second morning - so no clean cups for tea

Good base to explore ironbridge area. Room was comfortable with very big bed. Good breakfast available each morning.

Only criticism was the Wi-Fi which we struggled to pick up.

We stayed at the Anvil Lodge for a couple of nights. Mick and Judy are great hosts from checking-in to goodbye all was good. Breakfast with all the trimmings sets you up for the day. Room clean and tidy. I can't think of even a little niggle. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

Breakfast was ok but the owner was watching us eat and criticising was our son was and was not eating. Nice guy but it was a bit much. We would have appreciated some space
