the property was about 200 metres from the town centre. the staff of the royal hotel were very helpful also

well, there was nothing not to like about it - that's a double negative.....🤔

Good pillows! Nice dinner downstairs. A good pub hotel room.

Room and bathroom was very luxuarious

Pub was actually closed and I didn’t get any info indicating it was closed during the stay.

ease of check in, larger room (for single traveller), bed was comfortable. Chicken parma meal in bar and nice cold beer was very welcome. plenty of sports coverage tvs and lots going on.

I would not let these things stop me staying here again - it was a good clean venue and well organised staff. minor stains on bedside tables, tv was smaller, and noisy with people talking in main hallway (during check in). Side note the bar and restaurant were very busy and I could not hear them upstairs. Car park wasn't clear were to park, managed ok, wasn't sure if I was in the right spot or not. was about 200m from town but i didnt need to go in there anyway.

The location is perfect, the meals downstairs were very nice, staff very friendly and quiet despite it being a weekend

I stay here frequently and mainly in the Joseph room. It's good except for the shower fitting which are just hanging loose. It's been like this for at least the last 12 months but it's never been repaired. There's no way the cleaners would not be aware of this but it's always the same. This time I mentioned it to the bar staff so hopefully it will be fixed when I stay next time.
