Very good location, nice restaurant. Staff were helpful.

Showering was challenging, no hand rail or spot to place soap/shampoo etc. Lots of building noise. Climbing stairs was dangerous, poorly lit up, no hand rail for a section and one step was missing a strip.

The restaurant and staff were excellent. Our bike was parked safely out the back.

Our room could have been cleaner.

This place should come with a BYO warning. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, washer, bedside lamp, body soap (only small bars of hand soap available for all uses and not even a caddy or shelf to lean it on), a table if you want to eat in the room. And no, you can’t ring reception if you need anything as there is no phone in the room. (Not that anyone was in reception anyway, which is okay as we were there during a long weekend). Also, no wifi and you’ll need to use your own account for any TV viewing/streaming, so make sure you remember your passwords.
