Great place, super comfortable and quiet.

Check in is a little confusing, but to be fair that’s mostly down to me not reading the instructions carefully so not really a complaint.

location excellent, beds and pillows super comfy

bathroom needs vanity unit or shelve, massive bathroom with nowhere to put your creams, toothbrushes etc apart from on the floor or toilet seat , there was no privacy, needs better blinds on big window, had to shut curtains all the time which made room very dark, lighting in room very dim, felt like everyone could see in the room as it on main road with blind open, room very hot a fan would have been nice in room had to leave window open so was very noisy, then rudely woken up on sunday morning by very very loud church bell ringing, an email would have been nice with instructions regarding car parking, we had to find somewhere to park then walked back to the property and we asked at the pub across the road if they new about the car parking situation, luckily they did but short message to us before we arrived would have been good, also after being out all day we got back wanting a shower before we went out for the evening to find no hot water not even to get a wash in sink, we rang emergency number with no answer so we sent message which was replied to the next morning with aplogies but not good for us as we had to go out feeling grubby & unclean, bit unfair if you book with booking,com its £170 a night with no breakfast if you book direct its £170 with breakfast, bit cheeky

Breakfast was not included in the price, but there's a great pie shop across the road that does amazing sandwiches and pies

Could do with a better mattress as not the most comfortable, hence not a very good night's sleep. Extra pillows would have been useful too

This is a fantastic hotel. Very clean and great value for money. The staff are warm and welcoming. Hotel is located only a few metres away from the town centre but also very quite, combined with the comfortable beds, we had the best night's sleep. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
