Railway Bistro - Kandos

Rooms were quiet. No traffic noise or from the dining room downstairs. Good wood-fired pizzas.

Wifi didn't work. Possible the room was too far from the router.

Location. Off street parking.

Soiled bath towels. Dirty bathroom. No soap in the bathrooms. Toilet bins overflowing. No heater in the room, had to request one despite checking prior to arrival there was a heater in our room.

Bar was open, fire place was nice and they now have a woodfire pizza place open. Milan one of the owners is also a character.

The location

Lack of available staff on site. Showers were dirty with dead flies on window. Over priced compared to other, better, accomodation in the town.

The shower was hot. The on-site pizza and pasta bistro was good. However only one size pizza and no pasta was available.

Hotel EFPOST was not working. Luckily I had cash. The breakfast was poor. Only cereal, toast and instant coffee was provided. Nothing was replaced for the second morning, i.e. there was no bread and only 1 litre of milk. The men's bathroom floor was continuously wet. There was no effort made to dry it. There was also no soap or shampoo in the men's bathroom. The dispensers were empty. On Sunday the only person available to help with this problem was the Bistro owner who had never been upstairs to the guest rooms!
